The school includes ten departments in various sports, namely: free style wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, and cycling. The school is part of the system of specialized sports classes in general educational schools and falls under the 3rd group of the rating system for schools of high sports mastery and centers of Olympic preparation. Since 1993, an annual international tournament in sambo has been held at the school in the name of the Homel Region Sports School.
