The organization Alkor Klub Voiny-Internatsionalistov, also known as Alkor - a new military-patriotic club, was founded by sons of former Afghan war veterans. Initially, the club was open only to these young men, but plans call for expanding membership to any teenager between the ages of 13 and 15. Early matches were played between students from boarding schools, with opponents coming from the Alkor club. The score was 1:8 in the first game.
