IYPT Archive

The web project IYPT Archive is a personal initiative dedicated to providing a coherent record of problems, results and regulations from the International Young Physicists' Tournament (IYPT), a large and prestigious international physics competition that has grown from a Soviet-based Russian-language contest in 1988 to almost 30 nations competing annually. The IYPT Archive is a comprehensive collection of digitized sources, including documents, articles, books, notes, correspondence, manuscripts, and reports in over ten languages, aimed at making critical factual details of the earliest YPTs and IYPTs accessible and preventing eventual data loss. The project was initiated through years of systematic research, interviews, analysis, and identification of original materials. The Archive is a valuable resource for IYPT community members and researchers interested in the history of the competition.
