ICDL - International Children's Digital Library

This online resource, ICDL - International Children's Digital Library, is a partnership between the University of Maryland and the ICDL Foundation. It provides free access to a vast collection of children's books from around the world. The mission of the ICDL Foundation is to promote tolerance and respect for diverse cultures through providing access to a wide range of children's literature. The library offers books in various formats, genres, and categories including language, color, shape, format, and character. Users can access the books in their original language, and some books are available in PDF format. The site has been rebuilt with a simpler interface due to hosting issues, but all ~4,000 books are now accessible. However, not all books have been restored with their original features, such as search and translations. The site is currently fast and reliable, and users can read the books for personal use only.
