The website Aquatoria.technikon.by is a product developed in collaboration with water utilities in Belarus over the past 20 years. It focuses on the development of water management systems for urban water supply. While hydraulic modeling of the network remains an important approach to optimizing water supply systems, Aquatoria offers an alternative approach to more predictably assess the investment payback period and achieve real measurable effects within a few months. The macro level of management involves the optimization of water extraction distribution between water intakes. The system calculates the dependence of electrical energy consumption for lifting and supplying water to the city on the overall extraction volume. Based on this, the optimal productivity of each water intake is determined, considering the acceptable range of extraction volume changes and the water consumption forecast for the near future.
