The web project "History of Library Science in Belarus" is a digital collection of archive documents related to the development of library science in Belarus. Created by the National Library of Belarus within a research project, it includes two collections: "Library Science in Belarus in Documents and Materials" and "Library Science in Belarus in People." The first collection consists of digital copies of archival documents covering various aspects and time periods of the evolution of library science in Belarus, including legislative acts, conference materials, accounting and technical documents, plans and reports, bibliographic correspondence, and more. The second collection focuses on biographical and factual information about librarians, scholars, cultural and public figures whose lives and careers are linked to the history of libraries and library science in Belarus. Through their efforts, libraries were established, book collections and funds acquired historical significance, and library science continued to develop
